The purpose of the analysis is to determine the level of risk due to electric arc failure when activities are carried out in energized facilities.

The study makes it possible to calculate different parameters such as the magnitude and duration of the incident energy at a point of interest, and safe working distances. This information is printed on labels that will be placed on the boards and will reveal the risks of burns and electrocution, as well as the required Personal Protective Equipment.

The applicable regulations are NFPA-70E, NOM-001-SEDE-2012, NOM-017-STPS-2008 and NOM-029-STPS-2011.
